driving tests, work

Today I snuck out of the accounting conversion course to take my written test for driving. I don't get this company. Officially the starting time is 8:45, but we all know training never actually starts until 9am even on a good day. Now here's the interesting part. No one seems to care if you leave in the MIDDLE of class for whatever reason. As far as the company is concerned it's more detrimental to them if their trainees are 60 seconds late but attend the entire class, yet its perfectly fine to sign in then take off for the whole morning. Oh if I do get fired? I am going to blame the #28 minibus. Hong Kong's public transport efficiency just doesn't apply on this route. Fucking hell. Something is wrong when you wait 20 minutes and instead of one bus, you get an entire line of them.

After needing to skive work to do this test, a thought came to me: In Vancouver, the gweilos like to blame all the bad driving and road accidents on all the Asians. If that's true, Why is it I saw more road accidents in Vancouver in 2 weeks than an entire 5 years in this ASIAN city? Hmmm.
