The term redneck was originally coined to describe a certain class of rural, poorly educated, prejudiced, and uncultured individuals in the Southern United States. But notice how every country seems to have its own brand of "rednecks"? Though not necessarily fitting the exact definition, there is a certain class of people that could be described in similar terms.
