The Chinese are out to eat your pets

OK this is really annoying. Why can't I ever go on a trip to Europe without being asked if I eat dog? It's especially prominent in countries that receive fewer Asian tourists like Croatia or Poland. The most shocking though, was a friend of my Polish friend who's visited Hong Kong who dared slip in a "in asia where you eat dogs" into our conversation. WTF? Uhh, Hong Kong people don't eat dogs.

Dumb European (imagine strong slavic accent): "So do you eat dog? That's disgusting!"
My typical response would be: "Only a few people in Southern China eat it and even they eat it quite rarely. No one eats dog meat in Hong Kong since it's illegal and I have never eaten it myself."
Then their response would be something like: "So do Chinese eat dog or not?".
Hmmm, are these Europeans so narrowminded that they can't even take a black and white answer?
So finally I reply by saying "Oh, so I heard all Croats like to hang cats on trees for fun and eat horse meat for breakfast?" if the idiot was Croatian. For Spaniards I use the bullfighting one and everyone else I use the wearing fur thing. And that usually does the trick.

It's funny how Europeans will criticize China's animal rights record when they themselves are the largest buyers of Chinese fur. Me and my Thai friend throught up of a few other ways we could play with their minds a bit.

Random white person: "Oh Chinese eat dogs, isn't that right?"
Response 1: "Yeh we likee eating dog sausage with lice for breakfast, the rat noodle at lunch, cat intestine for tea and dinner have big dinosaur egg with fortune cookeee. Hmmm me absolutely love tastee of this"

North America and many countries in Europe have the highest per capita meat consumption in the world. Higher meat consumption = more animals killed. East Asians don't go around shooting animals in the wild for leisure either. Hanging a decapitated bull's head in the house? Fuck isn't that what white people do? Sick!! Yet they have to nerve to complain about us for animal cruelty.
